Apunix Animator is an OPEN LOOK software package that allows users to record a series of frame image data to video recording devices, such as VCRs and Laser Disk Masters, from their SPARC-based workstation. Many applications output computer-generated image frames to be used in movie loops; Apunix Animator displays these frames in sequence at a user-selected frame rate up to 30 frames per second (real time), and uses the video output capability of the Parallax XVideo Board to output the animation to a video recording device.
